This system is effective and easy in use. A significant advantage of optical discs is that info can be stored to and read from these discs almost on any PC with a typical CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive. Flash memory disk backup system, including USB, SmartMedia, Memory Stick and others, represents the following move of backup data storage development. These devices are portable, easy to apply and able to store a great amount of info. All the contemporary computers possess facilities to restore info from such disks. Their only minus is high cost in comparison to floppy or optical disks. But at the same time flash disc system is the most reliable and convenient data storage medium.
